Excuses are like Okoles, Everybody's Got One. DVD's - Ground Work - Lessons 1-6 Aloha, Congratulations on choosing to bring your body to a whole new level of awareness! Although a DVD can never replace a qualified Pilates Teacher, Ground Work can be a great supplement to your Pilates Addiction. Starting from the Pelvic Floor, Transverses Abdominis, and Femur Adductors we will build strength from the inside out. You may even awaken muscles you did not know you had. This 6 DVD series supports our Ground Work series we offer at the Upside-Down Pilates Studio in Honolulu, HI. No matter what your fitness level or Pilates experience please start with lesson one and progress from there. As repetition is the mother of skill, each lesson is meant to be repeated each day for a week. This will allow your brain and body the time to absorb the information and slowly build strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, concentration, control, and a deeper sense of self. Since this is the first day of the rest of your life, let's get started. Grab a thick foam mat or two yoga mats. Feel free to light a candle or lavender, lemongrass, and geranium essential oils in a quiet space. 95% of the battle is just showing up. Do not skip a day. I accept no excuses. If you do not feel well just put the DVD in and watch it. You will learn something. MAKE THE TIME! You can choose to become old and immobile The choice is yours. Now let's go and never look back! Each DVD is designed to be practiced for one full week before moving up to the next lesson. Then after completing the Series, return to the beginning to pick up on the nuances that you may have missed or simply review the material to make your body strong and supple.
